Project: Fort Hunter
So, after thirty hours of strenuous labor, using a variety of obscure, discontinued (cheap) tools and following a mind-boggling (less-than-accurate) set of directions, Hunter's Fort (legally named the Big Backyard Aspen Lodge) is complete. Purchased using a U.S. Bond acquired for Tamra back in 1989 by her Grandma Baird (Thanks Great Grandma!!), Hunter's Fort boasts a three swing monkey-bar attachment, climbing wall, lunch station with two stools, covered raised play platform, and a nine foot wave slide.
Sturdy (tested by a 220 pound angry white male) and good-smelling (constructed of mostly stained cedar), Hunter's Fort is open to all siblings and cousins who want to come play (at their own risk of course). Lunch will be served depending on the time of day.
See you all soon.

Look what I can do...
Therapy started January 2, 2008 and has been a whirlwind of new stuff to learn. I'm doing better than anyone expected, accomplishing goals set for me months ahead of schedule, seems I'm something of a smarty pants (in a good way). Here's just a glimpse at the things I'm learning... (it's so much fun!)
