Reading with Grandma June

One of my most favorite memories is of my Grandma June. I love her and miss her. Last December, she came to my fourth birthday party. My whole family was over and there was a lot going on, but right in the middle of the happy storm was a quiet spot where my Grandma June sat on the couch. She called me over to her and sat me down on the couch, telling me she had a book she wanted to read to me. I sat next to her with my Mom next to me and listened as she read to me. It was wonderful.

Do you Know Emma Perry Roberts?

Emma Perry Roberts is the author of Mrs. Murphy's Marvelous Mansion, illustrated by Robert Rogalski, published by Illumination Arts, and a book award winner of the Coalition of Visionary Resources. But more importantly, she's my Grandma Roberts. If you haven't checked this book out yet, you've got to. It's a great read with an excellent story (and moral to go along). If you're having trouble finding it, let me know, and I'll see what I can do about getting you one.
